2016 was a wine exceptional year and therefore was declared Vintage Year. Vinified in a stainless steel lagar with foot treading at controlled temperature and the addition of brandy to the finish. Before bottling the single-harvest wine, it aged in stainless steel vats for 2 years in order to preserve its young and fruity character.
This wine is not filtered, has an almost black opaque colour and very intense complex aromas of very ripe black fruits, such as plums with notes of pine needles resin, cocoa, chocolate and excellent ripe fruits. In the mouth it has great volume, vibrant acidity that shows freshness, well present high-quality lively tannins, floral notes of violets, black fruits and cocoa, and a very long elegant finish.
